Some Substitutions for Your Perfect Healthy Guacamole

Recipes aren’t one-size-fits-all, so here are some substitutions/suggestions for you to make the perfect recipe!

Frequently Asked Questions

Storage

Storage has never been more important than for guacamole. First, add your guac to an airtight container. Then take some plastic wrap and press it into the guac (not the bowl, the actual guac). Finish with your air-tight lid and pop it into the fridge.

Pairing

Naturally, tortilla chips are guacamole’s best friend. This recipe is also great served alongside tacos, quesadillas, or fajitas. If you’re making a Tex-Mex salad, I like to add a little guac in as well.

Shelf Live

If you’re storing your guacamole properly, you should get 3-4 days out of it. If you notice the top has changed colour, but it’s still bright green underneath, you can always scrape off that top layer. The bottom is still good!
